Small law firm located in Downtown Oklahoma City is in need of an Accountant. QuickBooks is a must! This individual will have the sole responsibility to keep track of all of the Firm’s finances to include billing, payroll, and accounts payable. The ideal candidate is skilled at multi-tasking and prioritizing deadlines. Qualified candidates will have discretion and will be able to keep confidential information under lock and key.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent years of experience
  • Experience with bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Great communication and ability to work with others
  • Experience with a payroll a plus
  • Law firm experience a plus


Job Duties:

  • Handle billing for all firm attorneys
  • Process payroll (regular, partner, and incentive pay)
  • Responsible for all areas of Accounts Payable
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements, including main operating account & trust account
  • Prepare monthly productivity reports
  • Prepare monthly financial statements
  • Responsible for working with outside Accounting Firm for Firm tax preparation
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing checks
  • Prepare and send weekly Accounts Receivable reports
  • Maintain confidential files
  • Provide front desk support on rotation with other staff members
