Oil & Gas Technical Writer needed for growing energy company in OKC.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to grasp complex concepts and make them easily understandable in documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional grammar, writing, and editing skills
  • Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
  • Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
  • Advanced MS Office Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree required and experience in Oil & Gas industry

 

Job Duties:

  • Produce high-quality materials, including but not limited to: policies, procedures and manuals that are appropriately written for the intended audience
  • Work with internal teams to gain an in-depth understanding of documentation requirements
  • Create and maintain the documentation architecture
  • Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style and content
  • Ensure documents adhere to established format, quality and accuracy standards
  • Manage updates and revisions as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

 

This is a contract position and could go permanent. $36-40/hr.
