QuickBooks Staff Accountant needed for CPA firm in NW OKC.  Member of the Accounting Services team that will ensure accurate processing and recording of client’s financial information.  Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly.  The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and QuickBooks
  • Communicate and work well with other team members

 

Job Duties:

  • Enter monthly transactions from client’s bank and credit card statements
  • Update and reconcile monthly bank statements
  • Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
  • Close client books at the end of the year for tax prep
  • Research and email appropriate audience of file issues
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
